Allan Gurwicz

I’m a fifth-year Ph.D. student at Texas A&M, advised by Drs. David Huckleberry Gutman in ISEN and Eduardo Gildin in PETE.

My research centers on interpretable machine learning and surrogate modeling for safe and efficient subsurface energy decision-making. I focus on uncertainty quantification and risk assessment, with demonstrated applications from reservoir engineering to geological CO₂ storage.

My latest work was recently published in SPE Journal. My research has been features in venues such as ATCE, ADIPEC, IPTC, OTC Brasil and ICAISC, with upcoming contributions accepted to LACPEC.
