Allan Gurwicz

I’m a fifth-year Ph.D. student at Texas A&M, advised by Drs. David Huckleberry Gutman in ISEN and Eduardo Gildin in PETE.

My research centers on interpretable machine learning and surrogate modeling for safe and efficient subsurface energy decision-making. I focus on uncertainty quantification and risk assessment, with demonstrated applications from reservoir engineering to geological CO2 storage.

My latest work was recently published in SPE Journal. My research has been features in venues such as ATCE, ADIPEC, IPTC, OTC Brasil and ICAISC, with upcoming contributions accepted to LACPEC.
